Error description

• OLE : CREATE - OBJECT - IMAGES IN THE ATTACHMENT ICONS DO NOT
  SHOW UP WHEN USING OFFICE 2003 or 2007.
  
  
  I have reproduced this problem in Lotus Notes 8.5 running
  Windows XP with MS Office 2007.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1.  Open a Memo (or a document with a rich text field) and put
  your cursor in the rich text field
  2.  Go to Create -> Object
  3.  Choose "Object from a file" and navigate (browse) to any
  Office document (word, excel, powerpoint, etc...)
  4.  Choose "Display as icon" - click on "Change
  Icon" - choose "From File" and choose an icon.
  

Local fix

• If the operating system's color quality display was set to
  Highest - 32 bit we saw this issue.  The problem was resolved
  when this setting was changed to Medium - 16 bit (right-click
  the desktop and choose Properties --> Settings panel --> Color
  quality).
