Resyncing SLM Peer configurations on IBM DataPower Gateways

Troubleshooting


Problem

If unexpected throttling occurs, SLM warnings are received, or SLM Peering is not operating properly, resyncing your SLM peer configuration can resolve the issue.

Symptom

Symptoms include but are not limited to.
  • Unexpected throttling when volume does not exceed threshold.
  • Log Message 0x083a00087 SLM Push [service name] to [location] failed with hash mismatch
  • Log Message 0x080e0017b datastore update is late time=[epoch time]
  • Log Message slm [ip_address] (apply-changes) hash mismatch
