Error description
According to documentation: SHIFT+F9 Rebuild current document, view, workspace (must have Manager access) Why is it that manager's access is required for just updating the current view, but it is not required when updating ALL views in a database (SHIFT+CTRL+F9)? Customer would like to see a bit of uniformity or at least make SHIFT+CTRL+F9 the function that needs the manager access as it is more extensive and can take up more time.

Comments
This APAR is associated with SPR# OAGU7U8R35. This is a misunderstanding. SHIFT-F9 ends up rebuilding the view which is to throw away the entire INDEX and then re-create it. Whereas, all Shift-Ctrl-F9 is doing is to UPDATE the view. It simply Loops through all the Views, Opening/Closing the view. This will NOT invalidate a view index if it already exists. So, there is NO need for the manager access here, you are simply using/opening the view.
