Error description

  • Currently, Quota Warning Report is generated based on the
    original message, so
DeliveredDate and PostedDate are added as the same value as
    original ones.
However, customer requests us to add new option for this
    behavior in order to
create Quota Warning Report based on the last delivered server's
    date/time, not
just copying original message, since the customer thinks Quota
    Warning Report
should be independent from original message (especially field
    values).

One background is the case when receiving Spam messages which
    disguised
PostedDate field. (e.g. future time). Here is an example. The
    user received
this message 2008/10/02 19:13:43 ZE9, but PostedDate is
    disguised as a future
    date/time (2008/10/07 08:56:35 ZE2).

In this case, Notes shows DeliveredDate in Date/Time column
    since following
formula is used in Date/Time column as designed. This is what
    customer expects
since this is the Date/Time the last server delivered the
    message.

    @If(DeliveredDate != ""; DeliveredDate; PostedDate != "";
    PostedDate; @Created)

    Notes
However, when you look at the same message from POP3/IMAP
    client, Date field
always shows the value of PostedDate since RFS2822 defines that
    "Date" in MIME
message should be used date/time that the message posted in the
    first server.

    MIME-Version: 1.0
    Content-type: text/plain; charset=ISO-2022-JP

Although above is just one case, it is also fact that if Domino
    creates Quota
Warning Report independently, DeliveredDate and PostedDate would
    always show
correct Date/Time and never confuse users.
