User is not connected to the datastore but user gets message that the user is already connected to datastore

Troubleshooting

Problem

By default, when new datastores are created, multi-user mode is enabled. When a datastore is run in this mode, subscriptions must be locked in order to edit them. Because of that, we need to have unique login names to the datastore. The uniqueness constraint is only enforced on the datastore connection, not the Access Server connection. What we see with wireless connectivity, is that at times, when the wireless connection is stopped and resumed, existing connections from Management Console to Access Server are dropped, but the connection from Access Server to datastore may not recognize that immediately, and Access Server will reject the next login. This does not happen during usage where networking is not severed.

Symptom

Unable to connect to the datastore unless the Access Server service is ended and restarted.
