  When a Remote API Client system disappears without gracefully
  closing its connection to the server, the server may not
  detect the disappearance of that client for a long time,
  resulting in the LUs used by that client remaining "in use".
  

Local fix

• Stop/restart SNA.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED: All users of Remote API Client.
  
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  A client cannot use LU resources for a period of 2 hours
  following a client reset which did not reset the TCP/IP socket
  at the server.
  
  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  The server should reset the resources used by a client
  connection if the same client establishes a new connection.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been modified to reset the resources used by a client
  connection when that same client establishes a new connection.
