APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When testing an API in the API Manager user interface a user may
  experience a HTTP 406 response from a HTTP GET assemble resource
  invocation.
  This occurs if the GET will only accept the request if the
  header "Content-Type" is specified.
  If the header is not specified, HTTP 406 Not Accepted is
  returned from API Manager internal test tool.
  

Local fix

• Add a HTTP header "Content-Type: text/xml" in the inbound test
  request.
  

Problem summary

• When testing an API in the API Manager user interface a user may

  The API Management code has been updated to resolve this error.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is targeted for inclusion in IBM API Management V3.0.4.2
