Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: Any user using -O3 or above could potentially be affected by this issue. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During compilation, the compiler hits a segfault causing a signal 11 at compile time. The segfault is due to how the compiler does a shallow copy of certain internal expression nodes. When a shallow copy was being done, only partial nodes of an internal tree were being copied over, which resulted in the segfault.
Problem conclusion
The problem has been fixed in the compiler by doing full copies instead of shallow copies so that all the nodes are copied over properly, thereby preventing the segfault.
Temporary fix
