APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When Drill Down security is enabled, users who do not have
Drill Down permissions in the project attempt to select a
column from the column list within a table analysis and receive
error message:

"You do not have permission to access this operation:
getColumnDrillDown. Contact your InfoSphere Information Server
administrator."

The error message is expected since the user does not have
Drill Down permission but clicking 'OK' button does not take
you back to the previous page.

Local fix

  • Clicking the 'OK' button several times will clear the error
message.

Problem summary

  • Drill down security role blocking navigation screens

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 11502 SP5.
