Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to start multiple Apache Tomcat Application servers simultaneously results in failure to start IBM Rational Jazz Team Server due to "Address Already in Use" error.
Symptom
The following error will be seen in the Tomcat catalina.log file:
SEVERE: Catalina.start:
LifecycleException: service.getName(): "Catalina"; Protocol handler start failed: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: NET_Bind:9080
