APAR status

Error description

  • In Information Server 11.5, using Teradata Connector stages to
access Teradata 15.10, the job log may display the following
informational message multiple times:
   Message Id: IIS-CONN-TERA-00000
   Message: Teradata_Connector_2,1: DBS Configuration response
   allows EON and column name length can be more than 30
   characters
.
The number of msgs scales with number of stages, columns and
nodes.  One run of job containing multiple Teradata Connector
stages running on multiple nodes may display this message over
100 times.

Problem summary


    

  • Teradata Connector logs EON Status Informational Message ("DBS
Configuration response allows EON and column name length can
be more than 30 characters") many times even in a single job
run.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Informational Message has been removed and will EON status will
be logged only when CC_MSG_LEVEL is set to 1.
