Error description

  • The following issue prevents creating a new Java API web
    service using the Firefox browser:

    1. When the new web service definition is edited in Web Service
Console, there is user interface element titled Web Service
Implementation which has two options Script and Java.

For Java API web service the fore mentioned user interface
element should be changed to Java.
After the Java radio button is toggled, ther implementation
script user interface element should be dynamically
changed to two user interface elements titled Java
    Implementation Class and WSDD.
However when using the Firefox browser to create a new Java API
web service switching the Web Service Implementation element
to Java does not change the implementation script user
interface element and thus it is impossible to create new Java
API web service using the Firefox.

The fore mentioned issues occurs only Firefox browser.
Using the Internet Explorer browser there are no fore mentioned
issues on creating new Java API web service in Web
    Service Console.

Local fix

  • The fore mentioned issue occurs only when using the Firefox
    browser.
Using Microsoft Internet Explorer browser there are no issues.

Comments

  • Problem :
In the new web services screen, selecting Java as the web
service implementation should display a Field for name of
    Implementation class.

    Test Case:
Add soap_company and soap_user in common.properties file to
    access the webservices console.

    -- Start MDM
    -- Open new webservice screen.
-- Choose java as web service implementation
-- Web service implementation should have another field when
java is selected to mention the implementation class.

The above test case shows the webservices screen and we are able
to create a Java Webservice, thus marking it Works for Me
