LO90037: INBOUND SMTP WITH MANY ATTACHMENTS FAILS: 452 ERROR WRITING MESSAGE TO SAFE STORAGE; MESSAGE COULD NOT BE STORED TO DISK

Error description

• The customer is receiving mails with 800-1200 attachments (very
  small plain text files). At the inbound SMTP Domino server,
  transfer fails with the SMTP error: 452 Error writing message
  to safe storage; message could not be stored to disk
  The customer does not have disk or memory issues on the
  impacted servers, and this is specific to these messages with
  high numbers of attachments.
  The MIME streams are about 1MB in total including all
  attachments.
  The number of attachments is causing the 32K limit to break.
