LO84656: "OBJECT VARIABLE NOT SET" MESSAGE IS DISPLAY WHEN REPEATING RESERVATION DOCUMENT WAS DELETED.

APAR status

Error description

• The repeating reservation document was created under
  Notes/Domino 6.5.x environment.
  When this reservation document was deleted after upgraded to
  Notes/ Domino 9.0.1, "Object variable not set" message was
  displayed.
  Reservation document was able to delete.
  
  This message was not displayed when this environment was
  upgraded to Notes/Domino 8.5.3.
  
  Steps to Reproduced:
  1. Setup Notes/Domino 6.5.x environment and create resource and
  reservation database.
  2. Create repeating reservation documents. (ex. 5 days, 5 week
  ... )
  3. Upgrade to Notes/Domino 8.5.3.
  4. Replace Design by resrc8.ntf.
  5. Open the resource and reservation database.
  6. Select a repeating reservation document and click [Delete
  Reservation] button.
  7. Following message is displayed and click [Yes] button.
  "You are about to delete selected reservation(s). Do you want
  to continue?"
  Following message is displayed and click [OK] button.
  "You have selected repeating reservation that was created in a
  previous version of Notes. Deleting part of this repeating set
  is not supported. Do you want to delete the entire repeating
  set?"
  8. Repeating reservation document was deleted.
  9. Upgrade to Notes/Domino 9.0.1.
  10. Replace Design by resrc9.ntf.
  11. Open the resource and reservation database.
  12. Select a repeating reservation document and click [Delete
  Reservation] button.
  13. Following message is displayed and click [Yes] button.
  "You are about to delete selected reservation(s). Do you want
  to continue?"
  Following message is displayed and click [Yes] button.
  "You have selected repeating reservation that was created in a
  previous version of Notes. Deleting part of this repeating set
  is not supported. Do you want to delete the entire repeating
  set?"
  Following message is displayed and repeating reservation
  document was deleted.
  "Object variable not set"
  
  If You select [No] button , "Object variable not set" message
  is displayed.
