Question & Answer
Question
Is there a script to automate the integration process of JBoss 4.2 with JRules 6.7?
Answer
This document addresses the issue by providing a build file for this purpose. It also addresses the issue with the configuration of JBoss 4.2 that was incorrectly documented in the earlier versions of JRules ( 6.7.0/6.7.1/6.7.2/6.7.3). The documentation issue was however corrected in the 6.7.4 release, and this script would automate the installation for that release as well.
To use the build file, follow these steps:
1. Unzip the attachment contents to the folder : <JRules67-Install> \shared\bin
2. In command line, go to the above directory
3. Run the command: ant -f build_422.xml
4. A JBoss42 dir will be present in the location <JRules67-Install>\shared\tools and the server is ready with the samples for testing purposes
5. Use "stopserver" ANT target to stop the running server
