Error description
Customer can not open URLs from an e-mail when Internet Explorer has not been started yet. An error occurs. "There was a problem sending the command to the program" But when Internet Epxlorer has been started already, the URL can be opened without a problem. It worked in an older version of the Thinapp: build 2014-02-07 9.0.1 - URL does not work build 2014-01-23 9.0.1 - URL does not work build 2014-01-17 9.0.1 - URL worked well! Troubleshooting: Reset IE settings to default Add server to Trusted Sites in IE Customer says issue only occurs with Thinapp Issue occurs with any url for example: http://buienradar.nl/ http://webwereld.nl/ https://www.security.nl/ https://greenhouse.lotus.com/communities/login Customer only uses IE but I asked him to check with other browsers: Firefox 21: The error does not occur Chrome 28: The error does not occur
Local fix
Have IE open already. However this is not a viable workaround for all users.
