LO70381: INSTALL ALL CLIENTS, INITIATE ROAMING VIA THE ADMIN CLIENT PROCE SS STOPS - MONITORING ROAMING USERS REPLICA STUBS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1. Perform a clean install of the 8.5 client and install all the
  clients - Standard, Admin and Designer. (Note: With type of
  installation the templates for localfeedcontent.ntf and
  roamingdata.ntf are installed.)
  2. Register a brand new user.
  3. Launch Admin Client and run client setup. Do no launch any of
  the other clients.
  4. Initiate an upgrade to Domino Roaming.
  5. When prompted to convert the client to roaming click OK.
  6. Click OK, when this message is displayed: "You will be
  notified when the roaming user process on this computer is
  complete."
  7. Go to your replicator page and notice that the folder
  "Roaming User Applications" is created.  Notice that it ONLY it
  contains names.nsf and bookmarks.nsf.
  8. Manually click to Start Now on the replicator page to move
  the upgrade process along.  Type tell adminp p a in the server
  console to process the requests faster.
  9. Notice that the user never gets the message that the upgrade
  process is complete.  Notice that the user's person record in
  the public nab indicates that this user is still in progress.
  Notice that there are 4 databases in the user roaming folder on
  the Domino server, names,nsf, bookmark.nsf,
  localfeedcontent.nsf and roamingdata.nsf.  Notice that the
  Adminp request, "Monitor Roaming User's Replica Stubs" fails
  with the following message: "The replica of the database
  roaming\mytest\roamingdata.nsf has not been initialised
  by the replicator.
