• In the DNS there are several alias for one server:
  C:\>nslookup server1
  Server: x.xx.xxx.
  Address: x.x.x.x
  Name: xxxx.xxxxx.xxxxxx.xxxxxxx
  Address: x.x.x.x
  For xxxx.xxxxx.xxxxxxx.xxxxxxx
  C:\>nslookup xxxx.xxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxx
  Server: x.xx.xxx
  Address: x.x.x.x
  Name: xxxx.xxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxx
  Address: x.x.x.x
  Aliases: xxxx.xxxxx.xxxxxxx.xxxxxxx
  But only one of these names is addess in field
  "ServerDocument->Basics-
  >Fully qualified internet host name"
  "xxxx.xxxx.xx.xxxxxxx"
  When user try to open database links using different names they
  get following results:
  For example:
  notes://xxxx.xxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxx/file/l/test.nsf => working
  notes://xxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxx/file/l/test.nsf => not working
  Using the link without a domain is also working
  notes://xxxx/appl/I/test.nsf => working
