LO69670: SEARCH BAR DOES NOT RE-APPEAR AFTER LOTUS NOTES IS CLOSED AND RE STARTED

Error description

  • Search bar does not re-appear after Lotus Notes is closed and
    restarted
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    
    - activate 'File -> Preferences -> Windows and Themes -> On
    restart, reopen any
    tabs that were open when I closed the client
    - open mail database an activate 'View - Search this View'
    - open the Calendar in an additional tab (this View do not
    contain the 'Search
    this View' bar)
    - close the Notes client while the Calendar is opened and start
    it again
    - open the Mail tab -> the 'Search this View' bar is not
    available and must
    activated again
    
    Issue is reproducible in Lotus Notes 8.5.3 with or without FP1
    german and
    english on MS Windows (XP and 7) and also on Mac OS X 10.6.x and
    10.7.x. using
    a 8.5.3 mail template.
    The issue do also occur if you close the Notes client with
    opened Mail tab when
    Calendar tab is also opened.
    The issue is also reproducible if I opened a mail database based
    on 8.5.2
    template with Notes 8.5.3
    
    The issue do not occur using the BASIC client and in Lotus Notes
    8.5.2.x.
