LO69310: "INDEX CORRUPTED - WILL BE REBUILT AUTOMATICALLY WHEN DATABASE IS CLOSED OR SERVER IS RESTARTED" AFTER NAB DESIGN ARE CHANGED

APAR status

Error description

• Steps to reproduce:
  1. Setup two servers in a domain, one as Hub and another as
  spoke server.
  Replicate the names.nsf between two servers, make sure they are
  in same design.
  2.Stop the hub server, copy the names.nsf to names_1.nsf, use
  designer to open
  the names_1.nsf locally. Copy the $Users and paste one. Remove
  the old $Users
  and rename the pasted one to $Users.
  3.replace names_1.nsf back to names.nsf and copy to replace the
  names.nsf of
  Hub server. Start the Hub server.
  4.The $Users will be rebuilt and after that, there is no problem
  on Hub.
  5. Do a replication from Hub to Spoke, after that, a message on
  spoke indicates the
  $User view are deleted and new $Users need to be rebuilt.
  "Informational, rebuilt view needed - collection object was
  deleted (reading
  E:\Lotus\Domino\data\names.nsf view note Title:'($Users)')
  6. Later, notes client users can not lookup users when they
  create new memo and
  search in to or cc field.. On server, few tasks which need to
  use $Users may
  report an error like:
  Error looking up user xxx/xxx in Domino Directory for scheduling
  request: Index
  corrupted - will be rebuilt automatically when database is
  closed or server is
  restarted.
  
  Updall -R names.nsf could not fix this problem.
  

Local fix

• To fix the problem, it must to restart Domino server.
  

Problem summary
