APAR status

• Closed as user error.

Error description

• "Database collection open error: <databasepath> Index is not to
  be generated on server" is generated on the server console when
  users attempt to open a view marked as private. The error is
  also generated when a user rebuilds the view via Shift+F9.
  
  Although this error is to be expected considering that the view
  is in fact private and only the specific user has access to the
  view, the server should either ignore the private view or still
  have the ability to process the private view. The concern is
  that if the  view cannot be updated or rebuilt, this may lead to
  view corruption and ultimately to database corruption. This
  concern is supported by the fact that B-Tree errors are
  typically reported along side the index error.
