Problem
When migrating data (navigators, workspaces, etc.) between different versions of ITM (TEPS, for example), it is important to note that the migration (export/import) needs to be done between the same version of the product. For example, if someone wants to copy their workspaces from ITM 6.1 FP07 to ITM 6.21 on a different system, they would first need to install ITM 6.1 FP07 on the new system, migrate the data, then upgrade to the newer version of the product.
Symptom
Errors will occur if trying to migrate data between different ITM versions. An example of this error would be:
KUICIW099E The importWorkspaces command failed because an unexpected error occurred. Please consult the D:\\IBM\\ITM\\logs\\TepImportExportCLI_0.log log file to determine the cause of the error.
