Error description

  • Configure a Desktop policy to push down a Notes.INI parameter to
    users.
Ensure the policy is set to "Set initial value for all fields'

The NOTES.INI parameters are correctly being received by the
    Notes Clients.

Users are then reconfiguring their NOTES.INI - changing this
    parameter.

Then when they next authenticate the value for the parameter is
reset to the value from the Policy.

This was tested using several standard NOTES.INI settings and
    some made-up ones to confirm.

Local fix

  • Once the setting is pushed down to the clients remove it from
    the policy
