LO60330: YOU CAN NOT PIN ALL OF NOTES CLIENT, ADMINISTRATOR AND DESIGNER TO WINDOWS 7 TASK BAR

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• You can not pin all of Notes client, administrator and designer
  to Windows 7 task bar.
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  
  1. Install Lotus Notes Client, Lotus Domino Administrator and
  Lotus Domino Designer. Then, 3 icons for them are added to
  desktop of Windows 7.
  2. Right-click the Lotus Notes icon and select the menu function
  "Pin to task bar". Then, Lotus Notes is pinned to task bar.
  3. Right-click the Lotus Domino Administrator Icon. As there is
  not menu function "Pin to task bar", you can not pin Lotus
  Domino Administrator to task bar.
  4. Right-click the Lotus Domino Designer Icon. As there is not
  menu function "Pin to task bar", you can not pin Lotus Domino
  Designer to task bar.
  5. Unpin Lotus Notes icon from task bar.
  6. Right-click the Lotus Domino Administrator icon and select
  the menu function "Pin to task bar". Then, Lotus Domino
  Administrator is pinned to task bar.
  7. Right-click the Lotus Notes Icon. As there is not menu
  function "Pin to task bar", you can not pin Lotus Notes to task
  bar.
  8. Right-click the Lotus Domino Designer Icon. As there is not
  menu function "Pin to task bar", you can not pin Lotus Domino
  Designer to task bar.
  9. Unpin Lotus Domino Administrator icon from task bar.
  10. Right-click the Lotus Domino Designer icon and select the
  menu function "Pin to task bar". Then, Lotus Domino Designer is
  pinned to task bar.
  11. Right-click the Lotus Notes Icon. As there is not menu
  function "Pin to task bar", you can not pin Lotus Notes to task
  bar.
  12. Right-click the Lotus Domino Administrator Icon. As there is
  not menu function "Pin to task bar", you can not pin Lotus
  Domino Administrator to task bar.
  
  All Notes client, administrator and designer shoulb be able to
  be pin to Windows 7 task bar.
