Error description
Customer was running Domino 851 on Linux with DB2 enabled. Customer starts the Domino server and 2 hours later the server process exits however the server does not crash, it continues to run. After running a 'strace' against the server process we were able to see that the server process was exiting with a signal 25: SIGXFSZ (file size exceeded). The 'ulimit -a' command showed that the OS 'fsize' limit was set to 'unlimited' and the filesystem type (ext3) has a max size around 16+GB. And there was no file in the Domino data directory, /home/notes/data, over 300MB. In looking at the 'strace' output it showed that the server is trying to create several p**t-***.cli files in the DB2DIRECTORY, /home/notesdb2/trace, but it never gets created. Customer removed this file along with some of the other files and restarted the server, so far it is running.
