Problem
This technote explains how to resolve an error, FLEXlm error: -18,147 - Error: License checkout failure: License server does not support this feature., that can occur when IBM Rational ClearCase commands are run while using Rational Lifecycle Platform with ClearCase (RLPwCC) licences.
Symptom
If ClearCase is accessed using RLPwCC licenses, attempts to run ClearCase commands from UNIX hosts may cause an error:
FLEXlm error: -18,147 - Error: License checkout failure: License server does not support this feature.
