OW38931: MSGANFM1104I ERRNO60 USING WELL KNOWN PORTS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• msgANFM1104I errno 60 (errno60 etimedout) can occur when using
  well know ports 721 - 731.
  

Local fix

• use the USERPORTS LPR option if lpd supports it.

  IP Printway was using GETHOSTID and using that id as the
  connection address on the TCP/IP BIND call. The GETHOSTID
  returns the address setup in the PRIMARYINTERFACE parameter in
  TCP/IP. In a SYSPLEX, this may not be the host id that is trying
  to do the connection. When the LPD responds to the connect
  request, the response is sent to the wrong host, who discards
  the response. The host issuing the connect request will time out
  because it did not receive the response.
  

Problem conclusion

• Change the BIND call to accept responses from any host.
