    ****************************************************************
As part of DLUR/DLUS pipe deactivation any queued work elements
(RUPEs) associated with the DLUR are freed. Each time a RUPE is
freed, a VIT record (RDSC) is cut to give the address of the
work element and a reason why it is being freed. In this case,
the subroutine was called to free a RUPE, but no RUPE pointer
was passed in. An ABEND occurred in the module which attempted
to write the VIT record because the RUPE address was 0.

Problem conclusion

  • ISTDLCSA has been modified to make sure a RUPE address is
present before trying to write the VIT RDSC record and free the
    RUPE.
