Error description

  • This New Function APAR will give the user the ability to define
the keywords XID, LPDA, LMODADR, RETRIES, SEGMENT, and GP3174
on a Switched or Model PU Major Node. When this major node is
used as a DLUS, these values will be passed to the DLUR via the
Control Vector x'43' in the encapsulated ACTPU.

VTAM Resource Definition Reference, SC31-6498-01, should be
changed in Model Major Node - Operand Descriptions, starting on
page 253, and Switched Major Node - Operand Descriptions,
starting on page 412, to include the references for the
    following keywords as described below:

*** NOTE: For Switched PU Major Nodes, VTAM permits definition
of this keyword soley for the purpose of passing this definition
to the DLUR when this Major Node is used as a DLUS. Thus, the
DLUR determines whether or not this definition is actually used
    in any session activity.
