Problem
This technote identifies an issue that can occur in IBM Rational ClearQuest. An ORA-01017 error occurs when connecting to an Oracle RAC database server.
Symptom
The full error message is as follows:
[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver]Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed.
DB_Connect: (HDBC e31348) connect failed: SQLDriverConnect: RETCODE=-1, State=S1C00, Native Error=0
DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver]Optional feature not implemented.
DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver][Oracle]ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
