Troubleshooting
Problem
When trying to install cognosrcp.msi from the file directly copied on to the client machine an error occurs.
Symptom
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2909
Click OK.
The same error comes up again but with 2908. Then you cannot get the message to go away and have to end task the installation in windows task manager.
