Error description

• After IPL, Netview experienced abend0c4 in INGCHW0A.  Message
  ING815I BCPII CONNECT SUCCESS was received a minute before the
  abend.  The code is not acting properly after a successful
  INTERNAL connect (ING815I) in case the very 1st query (console
  name) fails.  This can be the case if the SE/HMC has not yet
  completed the startup of its HWMCA console application.  This
  error should terminate with ING817I instead of continuing the
  INITCOM to discover other SE data.

  *                      reboots it can happen, that the overall *
  *                      wait-time of a currently active         *
  *                      SA-BCPii session initialization runs    *
  *                      out, while the SE console application   *
  *                      still performs work for the SA-BCPii    *
  *                      session requestor, especially if the    *
  *                      Support Element itself is not yet fully *
  *                      initialized. As a result of the overall *
  *                      timeout, the SA-BCPii session is        *
  *                      unconditionally terminated to allow new *
  *                      requests later on. The SE console       *
  *                      request data that is now returned in    *
  *                      such as situation no longer finds valid *
  *                      session storage, which may cause an     *
  *                      ABEND0C4 in INGCHW00.                   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  SE reboot sequences may cause ABEND0C4 in INGCHW00 if the
  SA-BCPii session initialization requests are not delayed or
  deferred.
  

Problem conclusion

• Clist INGRX810/INGHWCMD has been changed. The default timeout
  value added to the INITCOM/SUSPEND command has been increased
  from 5 to 10 Minutes. The overall default timeout value is now
  13 minutes for each of them. If the INITCOM/RESUME commands
  have been specified with a user timeout, now 10 instead of 5
  minutes are added. Note, that these changes apply to SA-BCPii
  (protocol INTERNAL) connections only.
