This technote is meant to provide you with information about a requirement to manually preserve IBM Rational Change Management (CM) Server MBean configuration customizations before upgrading IBM Rational ClearCase (CC) or IBM Rational ClearQuest (CQ) 7.1.x if the WAN support packages were installed.
If you are currently running ClearCase or ClearQuest version 7.1.x with the WAN support packages installed, you must manually preserve the CM Server MBean configuration prior to upgrading to versions 7.1.0.1 or later of those products.
If you do not preserve the MBean configuration before upgrading, any customizations that have been made will be lost.
