OA44538: SHORT TERM HIST DATA NOT DISPLAYED ON TEP FOR MFN FTP SESSIONS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem is that short term history (data retrieved from
  persistent data store) TEP queries return no data for Mainframe
  Networks workspaces that display data from these MfN attribute
  groups:
  
  KN3FSE - FTP Sessions
  KN3FTP - FTP Transfers
  
  Real time displays of data on the TEP for these attributes
  works, as do long term history displays (data older than 24
  hours, retrieved from the Tivoli Data Warehouse).
  
  This APAR mirrors CMVC defect 207405

  Short term history data not displayed on portal client for
  Mainframe Networks agent FTP Sessions attribute groups.
  This applies to the following attribute groups:
  
  KN3FSE - FTP Sessions
  KN3FTP - FTP Transfers
  
  Real time display of data on the portal client for these
  attributes works, as does long term history display.
  

Problem conclusion

• Corrected the code so that short term history data is
  correctly displayed on portal client for the affected
  attribute groups.
