OA26174: MESSAGE SENT TO RTM ETE EXIT DOES NOT CONTAIN SUBAREA/ELEMENT ADDRESS OR EXTENDED NETWORK ADDRESS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading the z/OS V1R9, the network addresses (subarea,
  element) and extended network addresses are not passed to the
  RTM ETE exit.

  In z/OS 1.9, VTAM changed the displacements in a data control
  block such that CL/ENGINE could not find the network
  addresses that it needs to pass to the exit.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed to look for the information at the new
  displacements within the data control block.
