• JavaServer Faces (JSF) MyFaces bug you will see that the
  implementation is not null-safe. The problem occurs whenever
  viewRoot.getViewId() is

Problem conclusion

• The JSF container was updated to avoid the
  NullPointerException.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
