Error description

  • When ZPARM AUTH_COMPATIBILITY=SELECT_FOR_UNLOAD is active and
the submitting user of HALOAD job does not have SELECT privilege
on the table, the data on the accelerator may get deleted during
the HALOAD processing. As a result, the user may receive the
    following messages in the output:
AQT20121E The load request failed because the following error
occurred: "AQT10301E: An error occurred in the SYSPROC.DSNUTILU
service of your database management system (DBMS). The return
    code is 8.
HLOU5720I - USER xxxxxx DOES NOT HAVE SELECT PRIVILEGE ON TABLE
    schema.DMMD_COLUMN_VERSION, IN TABLESPACE xxxxxx
    HLOU5720I x.xxxxxxxx DSNU012I 283 11:58:55.30 DSNUGBAC - UTILITY
EXECUTION TERMINATED, HIGHEST RETURN CODE=8 HL
    HLOU5720I OU5009I 283 11:58:55.33 Utility execution completed.
    SYS=0000, USR=0008
With this fix when a Loader job is run on a Db2 SSID with
AUTH_COMPATIBILITY=SELECT_FOR_UNLOAD and the user does not have
SELECT privilege on the target table then,
    1. IDAA_ONLY or IDAA_DUAL LOAD job will not attempt to load the
table and will end with an error message
HLOU4115W Userid <userid> failed SELECT authorization check for
    table <table name>
HLOU4117E Utility execution failed due to SELECT authorization
    check
    2. HALOAD job run with more than one table, and if any tables
does not have SELECT security then the job would report
    HLOU4115W message for these objects
that does not have SELECT security and will load all remaining
tables that has the SELECT security to LOAD. In such a case the
job would end with a RC=4. If the job does not load any table
specified on the HALOAD then the job would end with a RC=8.
