APAR status

Error description

  • An incorrout, including a UCB overlay exposure, can occur if an
incorrect register 13 (R13)  setting occurs when CQCMFILT
modifies an FRR parameter list  and then initializes a work
area setting mapped by R13 in key 0.

Local fix

  • Apply HIPER PTFs for CQM, STAP, AND CQC.
Remove Stage 1 Filter in STAP for DB2.

Problem conclusion

  • Exit Key 0 immediately after modifying the FRR parameter list
and before initializing the work area mapped by R13.
