Internal counters for statistics can overflow into negative
values that result in the externalization of incorrect fields
    such as TOTALROWS.

Problem conclusion

  • Change internal counters to unsigned integer to allow for
values up to 4294967295. SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACESTATS values for
    REORGINSERTS,REORGUPDATES, REORGDELETES, STATSINSERTS,
STATSUPDATES, and STATSDELETES are unaffected and will continue
to have a maximum value of signed integer, 2147483647.
The TOTALROWS column is calculated with the updated, unsigned
internal counters and may contain a value greater than the sum
of the external catalog table values.
