PH17007: 'RECOVER_TO_TS INITONLY' CONTROL CARD REPLACED WITH 'RECOVER_TO_TS ' CAUSING JOBS TO BE BUILT INCORRECTLY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Job replaces the 'RECOVER_TO_TS     INITONLY' control card to
  'RECOVER_TO_TS ' with a recovery timestamp in the jobs that are
  associated with INITONLY profiles. This then causes the recovery
  jobs to be built incorrectly for INITONLY DBs.

  ****************************************************************
  IMS and Db2 coordinated DR program BSY#CDR incorrectly updates
  INITONLY option on RECOVER_TO_TS statement in DR JCL. It is
  caused by DR prep job. Although BSY#CDR should not modify
  INITONLY option, DR prep job generates control statements
  for BSY#CDR to modify INITONLY option.
  

Problem conclusion

• DR prep program BSY$BUTD is fixed to generate correct
  control statements for BSY#CDR.
