Error description

  • An Object Compare job where a column are dropped from and
    added to a table in a UTS tablespace generates a DROP/CREATE
    of the table instead of ALTER statements. Furthermore,
    a dependent view defined as "select *" is marked as not
    changed.

    This fix ensures that, when option Unload Altered Tables is set
    to 'Y', the resulting change to add/drop columns to/from the
    table will be done using ALTER statements. The dependent
    view with "select *" will then be dropped and recreated to
    refresh the "select *" columns after the column changes have
    been completed.

    * dropping and appending columns on a *
    *                      table in a UTS tablespace generates a   *

    This fix ensures that, when using option Unload Altered
    Tables = Y, the resulting change to drop/add columns from/to
    the table will be done using ALTER statements. After the
    completion of the column changes, the dependent view will then
    be dropped and recreated, thus refreshing the "select *"
    columns.
