included in IMS V15. Sample JCL FABQUMD3 for merging Advanced
ACBGEN load modules into the IMS SDFSRESL library under the IMS
environment with IMS V15 APAR PI83450 is also provided by this

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
When the Advanced ACBGEN processes the DBD which has user
defined data that is provided by IMS V14 APAR PI46916, the
Advanced ACBGEN has a possibility to generate ACB member with
incorrect address for user defined data.
This APAR fixes this problem and the Advanced ACBGEN can
    generate correct ACB member.

This APAR also provides modified sample JCL FABQUMD3 which is
used to merge the Advanced ACBGEN load modules into the IMS
SDFSRESL library under the IMS environment with IMS V15 APAR
    PI83450.
FABQUMD3 JCL modifies the IMS DFSRRA80 module to invoke the
FABQMAIN module of LIU instead of IMS DFSUACB0 if the user
merges the Advanced ACBGEN load modules into the IMS SDFSRESL
    library.
IMS V15 APAR PI83450 changes the IMS DFSRRA80 module and the
FABQUMD3 JCL should also be modified.

Problem conclusion

  • The following module and JCL have been changed to fix the above
    problem:
     - FABQLMGR
     - FABQUMD3
    KEYWORDS: IMSV14TGT/K and IMSV15TGT/K
