APAR status

Error description

• CM Batch import and analyze related to a clone table, with parm
  prefix_for_data_sets 15 characters long or longer, may generate
  a WSL containing a TEMPLATE statement with a DSN longer than
  the allowed 44 characters.   When the WSL is run, the UNLOAD
  UTILITY that attempts to use this TEMPLATE will fail with rc=8
  and the following message (for example):
  DSNU1031I 157 16:33:23.11 DSNUGTDS - DSN name TOO LONG

  A CM Batch change related to a clone table may generate a WSL
  containing a TEMPLATE statement with a DSN (ending in
  the extension '.CLONE') longer than the allowed 44 chars. The
  unload utility in the run job may then fail with
  DSNU1031I 157 16:33:23.11 DSNUGTDS -
  DSN >dsname< TOO LONG
  
  This APAR reduces the .CLONE extension to .CL, and that should
  help reduce the DSN to be generated so that it fits within the
  44 character limit.
