When we create a schedule on a report, the options to choose the format are available as we are choosing them for that particular report. In the case of an event, the schedule is created for the event agent to execute on a particular cadence and hence why we don't have report formats available as the event could have more than one report as well. Having the options in the Schedule panel will simply confuse the user on which option will be picked for execution - the schedule format options or the format options in the event. This is what caused confusion and hence why we removed it. It is now more upfront that when you schedule an event, the schedule cadence set in the event properties > schedule tab applies to the event and the formats for the report(s) in the event will be chosen based on what's set in the report within the event.
