Error description

  • After migrating to Dynamic Query Mode reports, that with
Compatible Query Mode did show expected results, are now
returning unexpected results or an error. This is due to unique
determinants without grouping level being set on the query
subjects. In Dynamic Query Mode they result in mechanisms to
pevent double counting or errors the query cannot be planned.

CQM seem to have ignored determinants without grouping level.

Comments

  • This is not a defect in DQM. The row number 'partition by' is
created from the determinant information. This is the
difference between CQM and DQM where CQM is double counting.
