PH09586: ABEND S0C4 IN AGENT AUILGSZP OR AUILGSMG WHEN STEPLIB IN CR OR BATCH JCL IS AT HIGHER RELEASE THAN AGENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the AUI load library SAUIIMOD concatenated to the front of
  the STEPLIB in either the IMS CR Started Task or an IMS Batch
  Region is at release 10.1.3 and the the load library SAUILOAD
  for the Agent is at 10.0 then abend S0C4 MAY intermittently
  occur in Agent modules AUILGSZP or AUILGSMG.  This is due to
  the fact that a 10.1.3 internal control block is sent from the
  IMS Code to the 10.0 Agent and the 10.0 Agent doesn't recognize
  the block as being from the later release.  A documentation
  change is required to add to the description of message
  AUIB306E. The change is as follows: Explanation: When reading
  DLI call audit records from the z/OS System log stream, a
  malformed audit record was encountered, or the version of the
  audit record was not recognized.  * User Action: First ensure
  that the S-TAP version running in the IMS Control Region and/or
  Batch Region is the same as is running in the Agent. If
  adjusting the version does not solve the issue, Forward the
  AUI$NAP output to IBM Software Support. Also, some cleanup will
  be done on AUICPY4E and AUICPY4F; however, there will be no
  code path changes, nor documentation changes related to this.
