Error description

  • If the path that the UCB server has been installed to, has space
characters in it, after starting the server, compiling JSP files
will fail with an error similar to the following:

    org.apache.jasper.JasperException: The absolute uri:
[http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core] cannot be resolved in either
web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application

Local fix

  • Move the server's directory to a path that does not have any
    spaces in it.
