Troubleshooting
Problem
User performs a task (for example a database optimise) but receives an error. Alternatively, I.T. administrator opens the Event Log on the Controller application server, and views the 'Application Log'. There are a number of events which relate to 'deadlocks'. What are deadlocks, and why do I get them?
Symptom
The exact error message will vary depending on what the user was doing at the time. Below are some examples:
