Error description
Two issues being addressed as follows: 1) A Group definition in IMS PA may contain both IMS and IMS Connect System definitions. The IMS Connect system definitions may also specify a CEX repository data set. When the group definition is used to run a report using automated file selection, the JCL generated incorrectly specifies the default CEX repository data set (IMS PA Profile option 0.5) rather than the one from the system definition. 2) ABENDS0C4 IPI4PROC + x'2116'. At EOF processing with command option PROCESSEDONLY(YES) set, some transactions may be incorrectly flushed, resulting in a reference to a storage address that is no longer valid, causing the S0C4.

Abend S0C4 IPI4PROC+2116 * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** 1. A Group definition in IMS PA may contain both IMS and IMS Connect System definitions, the IMS Connect system definitions may also specify a CEX repository data set. At EOF processing with command option PROCESSEDONLY(YES) set, some transactions may be incorrectly flushed, resulting in a reference to a storage address that is no longer valid.
Problem conclusion
1. When a Group definition is used to run a report set, the first IMS Connect system definition found within that group is checked for a CEX repository definition. If found, the CEX repository from the system definition will replace the default data set in the generated JCL. As only a single CEX repository may be defined in the report JCL no further checking of the group definition is performed after the first IMS Connect system definition is found. 2. Command option PROCESSEDONLY(YES) only impacts on the handling of transactions written to the Outflight data set, all other transactions are processed normally.
