PH05303: SM IMS COMPONENT CAN ABEND WITH U0729 IN DFSSPM00

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When an invalid IMS type 1 command is issued from SM ISPF, IMS
  component can abend with ABENDU0729 in DFSSPM00.

  When an incorrect IMS type-1 command is issued from Sysplex
  Manager user interface, IMS control region component of Sysplex
  Manager can break a base register which has an address of an
  internal buffer pool. In this case, ABENDU0729 in DFSSPM00 can
  occur for releasing the internal buffer pool.
  

Problem conclusion

• Sysplex Manager has been changed not to break a base register
  which has an address of the internal buffer.
